Welcome, Dewey Cheetham & Howe Fans!

Well, I just can't tell yenz how excitin' it is to launch our very first Dewey Cheetham & Howe fan website. I just know these fine practicioners of law-n-order will be big, big celebrities one day. And when they are, we all, us truely devoted fans, can say we knew them when!

I have already started collecting autographs from some of the most promising up and comin' barristers in the US of A today. My very first letter ever from a future celebrity lawyer came to me from Mr. Wm. Bennet of Englander & Fischer, P.A. of St. Petersburg, Florida. Here's Page 1 and here's Page two of that one. The fine lawfirm of Englander & Fischer represent some of the most powerful and impotent people in the US of A today, including Melvin and Betty Sembler. Here's my letter autographed by Mr. Englander his self. I wrote him back right familiarly, too. Says I, "I was surprised to receive your letter dated May 26th, 2004." And I was, too!

And here is what I wanted to say next, ". You may be equally surprised to know that I agree, for the most part, with your assessment of the content at boycottsembler.com. As I'm sure you're aware by now, boycottsembler.com is not my website. In fact, judging by the date and content of your letter, I assume that you found out about the site before I did and from reading my website located at http://fornits.com/wwf/. And I have to say that I'm gratified to know that you read WWF so diligently. Perhaps some of what we are talking about will eventually get through to you and your clients. One can only hope.

"However, I'm less than pleased with the threatening tone of your letter. As I'm sure you will recall, this is not the first threatening letter I have received from your firm. Your clients, through their corporation, Straight, Incorporated, have caused me extensive grief and emotional distress already. I will not tolerate such harassment from you or your clients. I expect a full and sincere apology in writing, signed by Melvin Sembler within 30 days of receipt of this letter and for your firm and your clients to cease and desist further threats. Failure to make such apology may be met w/ legal action."

But I did not. Instead, I said "As I'm sure you're aware by now, boycottsembler.com is not my website. Therefore, I am unable to comply with your demands.", I went on and then finished with a perfectly civil salutation. A lot of good that done me, though. Do you know that Mr. Englander, nor even his girl Friday bothered to thank me for my correspondence? Well, some celebrity lawyers are aloof, I guess.

Here's a good story about a whole lot of such correspondence over a "most consternating" state of affairs back and forth between Calvina Fay, Dr. Lester Grinspoon and the Commonwealth Of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. The story doesn't involve any lawyers, that I know of, but it does involve Mr. Englander's distinguished client, Calvina. And it just shows ta go ya the kind of moxie these folks have.

Another very promising young counselor is Joe Farrell of Quirk & Quirk, P.C. Here is my very first ever Joe Farrell autograph (I shall treasure it for evah!) and he even sent me a copy of Judge Stone's order to go with it. And here is my second Joe Farrell autograph (he's just so accessible to his fans!) And here is Judge Stones order to go with that one, too. He's so generous.

Well, that's about all I have for now. I'll have to get right busy putting the rest of my collection into the computer. P.S. Well, just SLAPP me silly! Wouldn't ya know we're not really the first Dewey Cheetham & Howe fan website on the interweb! There is already a fan website for Dewey Cheetham & Howe, well of course there is! And why not? As if we friends were the only ones to apreciate their brilliance! I must tell you, friends, that I am both embarrased and bitterly dissapointed, though I shall persevere!
