More Money for Gulag Schools (thanks Jim)

Special Ed funding in Gulag schools!!!!!
"In theory, special education can mean  many things, from having a child work with reading  tutors to, in rare cases, sending him to another  school better equipped to meet his needs. In  practice, far too many children wind up warehoused  in glorified study halls, lumped in with other  students suffering from wildly different problems,  making meaningful instruction virtually impossible.  Meanwhile, a fortunate few are sent to high-priced  private schools at taxpayers' expense."

Tommy, you mean to tell me that kids labeled special ed (i.e. the same ones they're pumping full of adderall) are landing at Hyde on Special Ed Funding!? Can you get ahold of  any who'd be willing talk about it? Do you know of any specific parents groups that promote this?

"What  determines which kids wind up on which track:  the ability of parents to work the system."

And the ability of well connected gulag entrepreneurs to work the system determens how many, for how long and for how much, is my guess.

-If there's a worse idea going than locking kids up for victimless crimes, it's probably locking them in close proximity to some tyrannical altruist bent on helping them even if it kills them.

Right, those Elan kids came through the foster care system. Said foster care system responded to frequent complaints by sending an investigative team and brought all the IL kids back 'home'. That's my sketchy recollection of the thing.

Here's why I'm so keenly interested. There's a National Education Association (NEA) flagship project called The [link=http://masterteacher.com]Master Teacher[/link].

You might find some of the mindset hauntingly familiar. And I know of a few kids around here who've been diagnosed as emotionally disturbed and treated with group therapy, psyche drugs in county run programs.

One girl got the treatment for threatening to hit back when a school administrator raised a closed fist to her and told her she was gonna get an ass kickin'. Her mom stood by her in the face of threats of more help from CYF (Florida's Child Protective Services agency).

There are lots of "can ya' smell that smell" clues like this that point to deeply entrenched liberal interests using huge amounts of tax money to inflict basically the same type of Stalinist reeducation with a slightly different lexicon via the public schools. Of course, they're mostly targeting dark complected poor families. And you can't sue the state without permission from the state. But they can be tried in the press if we can substantiate the story.

I just don't think it's fair for Smell Sembler to take all the credit when there's plenty to go around for the Dempublicans.
