hi my name is jackie ivers, i was a resident of elan from 1979/80-1982. i "graduated" after countless months in the corner, gms, boxing rings, and God only knows what else. ive been diagnosed with did, ptsd and severe depression, most of which was brought on by my elan experiance. ive begun a site called shutting the doors of elan because i believe that people need to be held accountable for the abuses of the past and present. here is the web address for my community:

I think exposure is the way to go.

Fuck shutting it down.  Id be more interested
to see what happens if the doors were open wide.

Ya know, most people seem to think that these places don't really exist, or that they only use to, or that it only happens to fucked up people.

PS Anybody and everybdoy who has any hand in it, should be held accountabl accordingly, including, and not limitted to governmet officails, and anyone who helped lie for them or hide the reality of the place.

Victims, should recieve compensation, too.

These are my thoughts anyway.

thought about it many times i back in the day..

would certainly be pleasing to me on an emotional level, at least temporarily..

but it won't work.. It only feeds the program..


serves them to appear as victims, and martyrs..


not to judge too quickly, but I am inclined to think that if you are posting that here, then you are all talk... perhaps, I could be wrong

hopefully being held accountable will happen one day, and hopefully soon. it amazes me that these places are still open in the name of "treatment" or other fraudulant terms. their famous saying of what goes around comes around, eventually will come true. ive said it before, like they say it all comes out in the wash, i cant wait for the spin cycle :exclaim:  :exclaim:  :exclaim:  :grin:

Sorry Jackie but I dont think you will be able to top this site at fornits.This site fuckin rules and dominates all Elan message boards.Why you ask? Because I made it what it is today.I have spent countless hours of posting stories of elans staff and exposing them for who they truly are.

Hell I dont think your site will top it, though i would love to see you try and compete.I wish you the best.I will remain posting on this site telliwng more stories about the corrupt staff members.

Now you have to admit, you like my stories right???I love em!!

ook, well im not out to compete with anyone....but anyone who exposes truths about elan and the abuses perpetrated upon kids, as long as its factual is ok in my book....i just want to see people held accountable someday.....as for your stories, i dont know which are which, there are a lot of people who post anonymously, but for the most part there is some interesting stuff posted, theres a lot of sensless stuff posted, but thats on the poster.....whoever you are if your into exposing the corruption go for it :smile:
