I dont expect to win this argument here on fornits against the mods.  I think we all know the outcome.
I think if you did look into it (unbiased) you will see I am right.  If not maybe my information will change things for the better when the next guy comes along who disagrees with the majority and his posts are left for all to read and judge for themselves.  I am not trying to bash fornits, but it isnt good to have this happen to posters, whether it is adding a man ina hat or altering posts.  The readers have a right to know all views are represented without alteration.
Just rethink what i have said and compare how thewho was treated vs. someone who was against programs and waving a different flag.  He might have gotten some time off but not silenced for good without a warning or day in court.

The argument seems to have drifted to being less about what the Who did or didn't do and more about what could potentially happen in the future. I agree alternations of posts should not be happening and this entire episode should prove to be a good example of why not to alter posts.

A possibility.  

People realized Who was back and began to write parodies of his posts.  Pretty much quoting them and changing a few words. Then they would post them (anonymously) and add the little guy at the end as if it was Who.  The real Who posts (sometimes he'd add the little man, sometimes he wouldn't) were tagged by Deb.  By tagged I mean she put the little guy on the real Who's posts because he would cause so much disruption by posing as so many different people and posting the same thing over and over.  I do not believe for a minute that Deb or Ginger altered any posts.  I think Who either really believes that because somebody parodied him, or he's just a big fat liar.

Thats what I am saying!!  The mods can alter posts, whether it is adding a little man to the end of a post or altering the words.  Non of these changes left and edit trail.
Thewho exposed this months ago and he was told it was impossible because the mods didnt have this authotity and everyone believed the answer and everyone said thewho was just trying to coverup posts he was ashamed of or some shit.  Now we know he was telling the truth, that is all.  Why fucking ban him or contunue to ban him now that we know his posts where altered and deleted.

No, what I said was that Deb added the little guy and that was it because Who was flooding the forum by posing as other people and posting the same thing over and over as those different people.  He was caught red handed.  Deb has never altered posts.  She has only added that little guy to identify his posts as his.  Someone else just copied his posts, altered them, posted it as anon and put the little guy on to make it appear that Who wrote it.  Those posts were a very satirical impersonation of Who.  Funny part it, it really did get confusing to tell the difference.  (What do you wanna bet he doesn't get why it's funny).

Anne, That is the point!  when asked several months ago we were all told that the mods did not have this capability without leaving an edit trail.  Now we know that they do have the capability of altering posts without leaving a trail that the post was changed.

We all know that people can repost and change other peoples words etc. and have fun with that if they like,  but when push comes to shove the truth could be found by tracing the post back to the original.  We now know that even the original posts can be altered without leavinga trace so tracing a post back to the original is not dependable anymore.
Whether the posts ore the original ones or have been tampered with we will never know because there is no way to qualify this aymore.

Yes, me too, I dont give a rats ass myself.  But from a readers point of view if it is happening to thewho, because of his position, we all know it will happen again to the next guy that comes onto fornits and disagrees with everyone or is happening tody and we dont know it.  It seems the only way to insure yourvoice gets heard is to agree with the majority.

I agree.  I have seen the true nature of TheWho - all the deception, lies, posing as children, parents, program staff, unconcerned observers, etc.  It will be very revealing and educational to see this content under proper ownership.

As soon as TheWho agrees to link ALL of his content, he should be given access.
