I have been watching the atheist wars over on you tube lately and was wondering if anyone here believes there is a god. Of particular interest to me is this character over there that goes by the handle hard case. For some reason he reminds me of our friend Pink.

Everyone knows that religion was man made. It's used to make people think twice or even three times before doing something that will ruin their life.
From big things to small things it is another form of law enforcement. If people truly buy into it then they will not steal, fornicate, murder, ect.
Religion always seems to back fire though. People seem to do rotten things for the sake of their religion.
History is filled with people who bought into this way of thinking.

Besides how many people do we see in church and then we see picking up the city crack whore to get high with?
Getting drunk at the bar and waking up besides a stranger. Even worse getting up with your wallet missing!

Spirituality is where it is at!

There are no set rules/guidelines. It is so nice to sit by the water and just talk to your God about life. Your dreams, fears, mistakes, accomplishments, guilt, future goals, people your concerned about, ambitions, ect.
You can ask for help with any issue in your life.

Have you ever gone to bed all fucked up in the head and started praying and next thing you know it is morning and you don't even remember falling asleep? All you know is you started praying cuz you felt all kinds of fucked up and now you feel like it will be a-ok.

There was no book to read, no place to sit and listen to a lecture, no set of rules to follow or else, ect..

Religion DOES help people feel comfortable because some people need to be told what to do and how to do it.
People enjoy and trust in the ritual of religion. It makes them feel like if they do what God has layed down as the law they will not be damned to eternal hell.

If you can combine both concepts your all good to go. I learned how to do it and I have a new outlook on it all. It took me till I was 30 but hey it is better late than never huh?
