Listen, I don't want to paint the Dems as demigods... but there was no way in hell I would vote for a theocratic dumb ass like Bush with no foreign savvy to speak of.
But I'll tell you what: Vote for him, see if he wins, and if so, if he can conquer terrorism. I can tell you right now the fight to combat terrorism will drive us to bankruptcy, fiscally and morally. And I'll tell you another thing--it won't help. It is not only impossible to fight a conventional war against non-conventional guerilla suicide fighters without a specific locus, but more impossible to fight them in countries that don't even house a minority of them. All we did was galvanize new recruits.
It would take a much more internationally savvy leader with both strength and diplomacy to even be half way successful negotiating relations in the international realm.
And if you think we can keep dominating as The Lone Ranger, think again. Things have changed..either evolve or die.
