Looking for a Few Studies, Papers, etc.

Confrontational therapy for addictions outcome studies.

Mental health of victims of thought reform studies.

Statement by the American Psychological Association (or similar) regarding the use of confrontational therapy, coercion, whatever speaks to what is happening in Straight/WWASP/other programs.

Anything equivalent not mentioned above.

Most helpful will be a link to the source of the material. If a link can be provided it is not necessary to post text.

If there is a bibliography of such materials already, please advise.

Dr. Bruce Alexander from Simon Fraser University may have information on this.

He's worked with Dr. Barry Beyerstein who evaluated thought reform treatment, I believe.
