Diagnosises, which are bull (articles in Danish)

A number of researchers have analyzed what they call empty labels. Some of those are mentioned to be:

*Self-Defeating Personality Disorder (SDPD) (Was redrawn in DSM-IV)
*Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)

They recommend reading Herbert Kutchins's book The Selling of DSM

They even state that labelling someone with the diagnosis "Borderline Personality Disorder" is just because you as a therapeut think that the person is annoying.

But European therapeuts are worried. In Europe ICD-10 is used instead of the DSM-system, but they are working on creating a common version of both systems with the ICD-11 in 2012. Some of these non-useful diagnosises could end up in ICD-11 like Internet Addiction Disoder.
