Your kid is fine- it's you that's got the problems. Thank you for not shoveling drugs down his throat.

my son has ADHD+
I flunked 'drug-shoveling'
my nephew has ADD
His mom is flunking 'drug-shoveling'
my brother and I both have 'issues', but neither of us has ever been diagnosed
plus who's to say my 'issues' aren't from my training as a Seedling all those years ago
or from my stroke

Bad enough that so many kids and even adults are getting diagnosed with ADD, but it seems like the last few years there's been a huge jump in the number of kids diagnosed with AssBurger's Syndrome. If they just take the burgers outta their asses they will be fine.

Can I just storm I here and wank for a minute!!!!!!!

I hate my sons IEP! His schools is crazy! His doc's are crazy! And I apparently am not too far behind.

There ~~~~~~~~~>feels much better now.

I told my 15 year old about straight tonight :(  I din't get into the details just the mention of the removal of my civil liberties and the reasons I advocate so hard for him.

If there are any praying men or women out here tonight, I would certainly covet your prayers.

Godsake are you my twin or something?

Got a meeting with the special needs school my son attend tomorrow to try to explain to them whyt an ADHD kid cannot sit through a 2 hour detention

I would never give my son Atteral or Ritolin, he has been prescribed concerta and sleeping tablets, he has never and never will take sleeping tablets all the time I have a say in it and I have taken him off the concerta, it made him so lethargic he had no quality of life no mater how small the dose, plus when i read up on the dangers....

Anyway i have found changing his diet ha been pretty effective, more efeective than stupid concerta anyway

Possible causes for ADD ADHA
« Reply #12 on: October 23, 2007, 09:00:57 PM »
Okay, please just consider this.  I don't know how old your children are, but I am guessing that you both had your children vaccinated sometime after 1990 otherwise, you would not be speaking in terms of IEP's and school meetings, and teachers, etc.

Most folks are not aware of the levels of mercury used in the childhood (MMR, DPT, etc.) vacines.  If my memory serves me correctly, it's used as a preservative in the vaccine.

I had my son (age 26 now) vaccinated starting in 1982 and he was pretty much finished with all of the "requireds" by 1984/1985. I think we were able to sneek by on the last round of shots until he got busted at college this term.

Anyway, the point is, in the mid to late 1980's (85-87) was when "they" started using mercury as a preservative. Now I'm writing just from memory so  please do your own research on this.

Check out the most common symptoms of mercury poisoning.  You may be surprized.  Heck if you are willing to forego the drug treatment the physicians are recommending for your kids and seek alternatives, look into what might be the root cause fist.

Chelation therapy might help - and that can be done either by blood cleaning or with supplements or both.  Much depends, I think, on the toxicity level of the metal(s) involved.  Senator Kennedy (not Teddy) has done some great work on this issue.  check out the research and good luck.  I hope this is somewhat helpful.
