the last few years before elan 8 was broken up were crazy..about 98 to 01...we had marc for most of it...the smallest house...the craziest kids...i know a lot of people from that time go onto this forum....lets remember some of the good, crazy, and funny times

remember the canoeing trips with ken and jamal and all the canoes battleing and fighting

hahaha..or the white water rafting trip when jason hesnan flew out of the raft and it was all caught on the video...

or how dennis always asked ken during his quetion time at night if pepsi and coke were the same company....and one time ken saw it comin and even hinted at him not to ask it but that little fucker drew the most wiked evil smile and said it anyway..ken was so pissed he just sent us back to the dorms..hahahaha

OMG I remember watching that whitewater rafting video with jason throwing himslf out of the raft, Marc kept rewinding it and rewinding it.  And jason yelling as we were watching it that he fell out, and didn't intentionally fall out.

Does anyone remember how Jason, Tony, and Mike P were always takening up residence in the corner.  And the time Mike P split, if I remember correctly out the window, and was barefoot?  And the time he tried to OD on medicated gold bond powder?

And Jason's band "The Octupies" with Chris Jain on drums, and Maren on bass.  He was so dedicated to his band, and would get so angry if anyone said anything negitive about it.

Hey Rae it's Maren! Yeah that band was so fun!!! But Danielle (R.I.P.) Played the Bass and I played the keyboards.Man we thought we were such rockstars up there! I can't believe I actually preformed a Blink 182 song. But hell that was one of the only times I got to play music in elan. And if you didn't sign up for an act you were usually then FORCED to do something hideously embarrasing in front of all three houses.

Rae RIDE THE PONY!!!!!!

NO ONE KNEW HOW HILARIOUS YOU WERE UNTIL THAT SECOND! I'm laughing just thinking about it!

LOL, hey Maren, do you remember people would taunt Jason about the band and he would get so devensive, and so upset, and they would purposely taunt him just for the rise they'd get from him.  And than Jason won a talent show for I think a song by "Beck".

My first talent show I was forced by Missy to do a stupid act with Tina "Whinny" Ross, and Jenn Ferro.  We had never actually practiced it, and told Missy this the day of the show, but she made us go up anyways to embarrass ourselves having to ab lib.  Where you there for that?

I remember that act you did when you said all the states in under 30 seconds was it?  And someone said "Very good little boy", and you were like "Dude, I'm a girl"  I dunno, but that line still cracks me up.

Hello, it is Jason. Yea I remember when kids used to taunt me about the totally retarded band we had, like I care. It was horrible, but so much fun. Specially with Jamal as our " manager " haha. But like the first year and a half of my stay there they NEVER let me touch a musical instrument. They banned me from everything music related, and when they finally let me play guitar, I was only allowed to for like 20 minutes every weekend.  Once for a long time I was only allowed to eat half of every meal if you can remember that. I was banned from everything and treated different from everyone in the house ( and I mean EVERYONE ), and that made it so refreshing when I finally left after 3 long years.  And it was a Green Day song we played >.< ugggh

Ha, I remember the Pepsi Coke thing, that was classic. Plus Ken and every single staff member there were VERY cruel people. Everyone thinks I hated Marc the worst, he wasn't even CLOSE to the worst. Despite how bad that place was, there were some kids that made it suck much less, I met some really cool, amazing awesome people there that I really miss so much. Every few days or so I just think, man I wish I could hang out with Schuyler or Dennis again. I really liked almost all the kids there, even the ones who were cruel to me.

Speaking of which, Maren if your reading this, email me EyeballGrowth@yahoo.com    I lost all your information like a year ago
