: Yes, I was wondering if any of you knew anything about this site. I'm sorry if I seem overly skeptical, but I don't want to do anything to help the "OTHER SIDE".

I had to dig for this and I STILL don't know what AFF stands for.

"About AFF

AFF is a nonprofit, tax-exempt research center and educational organization founded in 1979. AFF's mission is to study psychological manipulation and cultic groups, to educate the public and professionals, and to assist those who have been adversely affected by a cult-related experience. AFF consists of a professional staff and a growing network of more than 150 volunteer professionals in fields ranging from education, psychology, and religion to journalism, law enforcement, and business. "

Off-hand, I would say that these folks are devoted to a very narrow focus. Some of the info I've found there seems useful, however they don't list Straight or The Seed or any of the others. There is, however, a guy listed under AA deprograming.

I honestly can't tell you anything more about this site specifically. Just keep a skeptically open and inquisative mind. It works like holy water on cultists ;) If you can't get a firm answer about these people, then send your reference along with an apropriate disclaimer.
