You don't know how close you are on the mark. SAFE's technology was adopted from Straight, Inc., the largest juvenile drug rehab chain the world has ever seen. Straight grew out of The Seed which derived its peer pressure GROUP tech out of the modern therapeutic community concept which was developed by Charles Dederich at Synanon Church in California. Many celebrities were involved in the Synanon movement, and noted band groups often played at Synanon festivities. In fact, it was band leader Stan Kenton's son who was convicted of the attempted murder of attorney Paul Morantz who had won a sizable judgement against Synanon for abusing a woman in that cult. It is believed by many that Hotel California was written by The Eagles in commenmoration of the work Synanon was doing in drug rehabilitation.
