: : When you have a reputation for doing bad things, your name will always be dropped around. $traight, Inc. continues to be in the news at $traight . You might consider sending the editor a comment if you have a mind to.

: Hi Wes...Nice work, I'm also glad that in that article, there was a caparison made by that writer between "Straight", and this "New Place". I guess not much has changed in fact that they close a place like Straight down, move, open the same thing up somewhere else, change the name, change some of the spoken phrases, keep all the same tactics, and last, but most important, rake in the money. Seems like the people around that area don't want them there. Nobody out there, please don't take this wrong for what I'm about to write, but those people (current residents) will get their land back in about ten years after there have been droves of runaways. The good people will get their land back out there when there have been droves of law suits, and destoyed minds that take years and years of therapy to start living a happy life, if their lucky enough to find sites like Gingers and Kathys. Those current residents will be able to convert that building into a community center if they would just be patient, because that lot will of moved on from there by then. I guess I'm hurting and frustraited all at the same time because another "mind rape mill", is opening up because some demented idiot or idiots, will go to any length to make a dollar. Well, I feel a little better, but I think I'm gonna try to get in touch with this writer..........Thanks all...........Ken

Once again, I'm shaking my head, frustrated; they miss the point. The residents are worried about bad kids making trouble in their neighborhood. So if anyone is determined and lucky enough to escape, they'll face a gauntlet on the outside. The comment by the director says it all.

"The Argiros family admits that the school has between 7 to 10 runaways a year, but Betty Argiros said most of the students try to either hitch-hike or find the nearest public phone to call the parents to come pick them up."

Why in the hell can't they call their parents from te "school"?

I will be writing to the journalist about this.
